Don't Underestimate the Nigger Tape Download Here
I would have to agree with Tedwards that Rhymefest's "Man In The Mirror" is a must have for 2008. Today I had the chance to listen to it for the first time while I've been stuck inside due to a snow storm. Who's idea was it to pair up the Chicago lyricist and the King of Pop himself...Michael Jackson? The London bloke Mark Ronsen, that's who!! We actually share the same birthday (September 4th). Shout out to all my virgos out there. Anyway...this tape is nothing but genius. Rhymefest is spittin' over dope beats that sample classic MJ records. Now I know that Michael Jackson has gotten KINDA weird in recent years. He has a new costume everytime he steps in public (Check out recent picture). He used to be the shit back in the day. Rhymefest is the first MC to dedicate an entire mixtape paying homage to such an iconic figure in popular music.
Coolie High [Feat. Camp-Lo] is my favorite track from the mixtape. It's a remake of Camp Lo's 1996 single "Coolie High." What's funny is that Camp-Lo originally sampled Janet Jackson's 1986 "Funny How Time Flies" and the 2008 uses MJ's 1982 "Lady In My Life" off his multi-grammy award winning "Thriller"
Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season. I am loving being able to make my posts under my warm blankets. Here is a lil' something for all the ladies out there. Tapemasters INC. is coming with more of that fire. It's a mixtape of all the hot new R&B material that has been dropping in the past month or so. We've got tracks from Mrs. Beyoncé (She has put a ring on it), Young Lloyd, Ne-Yo, & Chris Brown. ENJOY!!!!!

The mixtape recorded sales in the thousands, leading to his first full length album entitled Show and Prove in 2006. Khalifa was declared an "artist to watch" that year in Rolling Stone magazine. Khalifa has shared the stage with popular artists like Ghostface Killah, Styles P, Lupe Fiasco, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Cham, Little Brother, Clipse, Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Lil Scrappy, Mario, T.I., Nas, and Rich Boy. After bringing home “Best Male Artist” and "Lyricist Of The Year” at the 1st annual Pittsburgh Hip Hop awards, Khalifa premiered his debut video "Pittsburgh Sound", broadcast over the internet through various hip-hop fan sites. Khalifa uses, but did not coin, the nickname Pistolvania for Pennsylvania. In 2007, Khalifa signed to Warner Bros. Records, and released two mixtapes through Rostrum Records: Grow Season, hosted by DJ Green Lantern and released on July 4, 2007, and Prince of the City 2, released on November 20, 2007.
